The Last Unicorn
These pictures are based on the film „The Last Unicorn" (1982). The unicorn is depicted in a state after she has transformed into a human being. The essence of her magical being is still present in her form. The danger of the red bull is visualized by the colorful addition of red frames and shapes.
Lady of the lake
This series is inspired by the paintings of John William Waterhouse. The natural, saturated environment contrasts with the texture and colour of the dress. The depiction of female sensuality is the focus of this series.
Reflection
The woman remembers how her life has brought her to this moment. Her mind dwells on the past, trying to understand the outcome of the choices she has made. Her mind is drowning.
Red Knight
The following photos were taken at the Dokumentationsstätte Regierungsbunker. The bunker was built as a refuge for former German politicians in the event of a nuclear attack during the Cold War. The photos show the second of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. The photos address the injustice of separating the population from the political actors.
